The Simrad R5000 radar systems are available in a range of configurations
to
meet the requirement for an IMO type-approved X-Band and S-band radar
system
aboard CAT 1(H), CAT 2(H) and CAT3 SOLAS vessels.

6, 9, and 12-foot open array antennas are available to suit a range of
vessels.
-
24" or 27" widescreen LCD TFT can be installed as table top, deck stand or
flush
mount into the bridge console.

Choose from a 12 or 25 kW up-mast or 25 kW down-mast transceiver (X-band)
and
30 kW up-mast or down-mast transceiver (S-band).

Multiple R5000 processors can be networked together to create multi-
radar
systems,
and to provide access to radar from multiple stations.
Any networked station can control any connected radar system,
offering both
flexibility
and redundancy.

The Simrad HALO® 2000 & 3000 array radars offer an impressive 50W (or 130W) of
power –
equivalent to a 12KW (or 25KW) magnetron radar. This delivers
an unrivalled combination of
short- and long-range target detection from
6 meters out to 72 (and 96) nautical miles with
exceptional clarity.
The HALO® array series not only increase situational awareness and
collision
avoidance at greater distance, but also offer higher-resolution target detection
not
found in lower-powered radars.

ZoneTrack™ brings the best of professional boating technology to
recreational users, allowing
them to automatically track up to 50 vessels
within a defined area, providing course and
speed information to aid
situational awareness. HALO’s Dangerous Target Alerts graphically
highlight range, bearing and heading of other vessels relative to yours.
VelocityTrack™ uses
Doppler technology to show targets colour-coded so
potential threats can be identified at a
glance.

Designed with an intuitive interface, HALO® 3000 has smart features like Harbour, Offshore,
Bird and Weather modes. Bird+ mode allows you to focus the full 130W of HALO 3000’s
power on bird finding, enabling boaters to find schools of fish up to 8nm away.

The HALO 2000 and 3000 have the same footprint as their predecessors, making upgrades
hassle-free. They are also compatible with a range of Simrad® chartplotters, including NSS™,
