    | FarSounder ARGOS - 3D Forward Looking Navigation Sonars
 | Product description |
    |

 |

FarSounder develops and manufactures 3D forward-looking sonar for
	  vessels of all sizes.
These systems are the only products on the
	  market capable of
 generating a true,
	  3-dimensional image ahead of a
	  vessel in real-time.
 Operational and reliable at
	  navigationally significant
	  ranges up to 1000M
and speeds up to 25 knots, the Argos
	  Series
	  allows users to navigate safely
 and confidently. The system software
is able to be integrated in many bridge
 systems.

 The FarSounder
Argos Series has 3 options of innovative sonar technology:

The Argos 350 Forward Looking Sonar System is the solution
	  for
	  mid-sized yachts,
research and survey vessels and unmanned
	  vessels.
 Specifications include:
 - More compact and lighter transducer
 - Ability to detect objects in water column up to 350 meters ahead
 - Operational speeds up to 18 knots
 - Two installation types - easy fixed installation or hoist installation in 10-inch
 diameter sea chest

The Argos 500 Forward Looking Sonar System is the solution for
super yachts, military and government vessels, research vessels,
	  cruise ships and mid-size
 unmanned
	  vessels.
 It
	  reliably detects
	  underwater obstacles, shallows, and various
	  “in-water” targets
 up
	  to
500 meters in front of the vessel at operational
	  speeds up to 20 knots.
This technology guides ships safely through unknown waters and
	  risky
 environments.
The data is shown in a 3D display and overlaid on
	  a nautical chart,
 and is updated
	  in under 2 seconds.

The Argos 1000 Forward Looking Sonar system is the solution for
cruise ships, large super yachts, research vessels, military and
	      government ships and larger
 unmanned vessels.
The most powerful in the series, reliably detects underwater
          obstacles,
 shallows,
and various “in-water” targets up to 1000 meters
          in front of the vessel
 at operating
          speeds up to 25 knots.
This powerful technology guides large ships safely through unknown
          waters
 and risky
          environments.
The data is shown in a 3D display and overlaid
 on a nautical chart,
and updates in less than 2 seconds.
