Walker 2050 MK2 Wind
|
Product description |
|
-
The Walker 2050 Mk2 uses a Combined Anemometer Cup & Vane
Direction
Sensor,
the P296. This gives high accuracy in a robust
compact package.
-
The Sensor connects directly to a standard Walker DIN 144x144 wind
speed
&
direction
indicator, the P1249, which gives digital displays
of relative wind
speed &
direction.
Wind direction is also displayed on
a simulated analogue
display by use of
OLED technology.
-
The sensor converts wind speed and direction into serial digital data.
Data is
displayed by the P1249 Indicator in digital format and also in
analogue for
wind
direction. The instrument interfaces in NMEA
0183/RS422 to other ship
systems
(sentence MWV).
-
True wind systems are available by using this sensor with the Walker
P1066 True
Wind Interface Unit.

&
Vane Direction
Sensor, the P292. This gives high accuracy in a robust
compact package
with no moving parts to wear out!
-
The Sensor connects directly to a standard Walker DIN 144x144 wind
speed &
direction indicator, the P1249, which gives digital displays
of relative
wind speed &
direction. Wind direction is also displayed on
a simulated
analogue display by use
of OLED technology.

Walker 5000 Weather System
|
Product description |
|
-
The Walker 5000 is a cost-effective single masthead weather system
which utilises
the Walker P1002 weather sensor masthead to provide
air temperature, humidity,
and barometric pressure.
-
The NMEA output from the P1002 is connected directly via our P293B
cable
(40 meters as standard) to the Walker P1255 weather indicator.
-
This well-regarded unit is simple to install on either new build vessels
or
to retrofit
and is expandable with additional indicators.
-
The Walker 5000 Weather system fully complies with IEC 60945,
IEC 61162-2
and IEC 62288.
|
Walker 5002 Wind & Weather System
|
Product description |
|
-
The Walker 5002 is top of the range ultrasonic wind and weather
system
and
combines the ultrasonic wind component from the
2080 Mk2 with the
weather
sensors from the 5000 system in one
masthead unit with just one
cable connection.
-
The sensor connects directly to the standard Walker DIN 144 P1249
wind
speed
and direction indicator and the P1255 weather indicator.
An optional
sensor (P1263)
can also be added to measure sea water
temperature if required.
-
With the addition of the P1066, this system also offers the option of
true
wind
and can also be incorporated with the 7070Mk2 EM speed
log for
complete
wind,
weather, speed and distance readings in one
complete
package at a very reasonable price.
-
The Walker 5002 Weather system fully complies with IEC 60945,
IEC 61162-2 and
IEC 62288.
